John is a Co-Founder of Optima Global and currently serves as its President and CEO. He leads the Optima Global team in achieving its strategic objectives and overall business goals. John helps clients with his expertise in the areas of strategic planning, corporate and business development, project development and management, capacity building and operations management. John has over 30 years of experience in renewable energy, upstream oil and gas, telecommunications and consulting sectors in various technical management, business and senior executive roles.
John is a Professional Engineer (APEGA) and a Project Management Professional. He holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary, an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapua University in the Philippines.
